According the to the American Heart Association cigarette smoking statistics it's estimated that in the United States almost 25 million men and just over 21 million women are currently smoking. This staggering number of people are at a significantly higher risk of stroke, heart attack, as well as a host of other issues. Not only that, but those they smoke around are also at increased risk. All of my senses are clear and alive. My site, sense of smell, and hearing, my tasting, and even my touch are more alive than ever before.
I do not see smoking as being strong, intelligent or glamorous in any way. I see it for what it really is, and it has no place in my life.
I give myself permission to relax, feel good, breathe deeply and fully, and enjoy being a healthy non-smoker at all times and in all circumstances.
People enjoy being around me. I have self-confidence and self-respect and like myself and it shows!
Being a non-smoker is easy for me. After all, I was born that way, and it is the natural thing for me to do.
Shad Helmstetter recommends repeating these statements to yourself 3 to 4 times per day for the next three weeks. And remember that all of our old habits are merely old programs, and these quit smoking affirmations and others will attempt to reprogram us.
